Scena (600 m above sea level) is a town with approximately 3000 inhabitants located on a sunny hill north-east from Merano. Above the town soar the impressive peaks of the mount Cervina/Hirzer (2.781 m) and of the mount Ivigna/Ifinger (2.581 m). The landscape is characterised by orchards and vineyards and a wide net of hiking trails and sunny paths spreads through it. In the centre of the town you find whatever you are looking for: supermarket, newspapers, bakery, drugstore, coiffeur, public outdoor swimming pool, clothes shop and shop for hiking gear.

In only a few minutes the bus takes you to Merano where you can explore the famous “thermal city”.
